Timeless music found by coincidence — with Habibi Funk.
For the artists Habibi Funk features, that wait can last decades. The Berlin-based record label began by coincidence, after its founder, Jannis, came across a record in Morocco tha...
So much to discover in Peckham, London.
Before a single post goes up about a TONES event, before we lock in a venue, and long before any artist is confirmed to perform, our team is already deep in the event’s chosen city...
Is the stage really a green screen?
The idea came first: an artist, a mic, and a single-colored background. Before COLORS had a studio or a name, it was only this image. Then, our first stage was created in an old ab...

We're celebrating Latin Heritage Month!
"It’s really cool that, at this moment, we’ve become references in the world in such a special way; through our music, we’re representing our country.” - Feid
Latin Heritage Month offers a moment to celebrate the artists, sounds, and stories that continue to shape Latin music and culture. It’s a reminder of how music connects us across generations, cultures, and borders.
Over the past 10 years, COLORS has championed the voices shaping contemporary Latin music, with more than 50 Latin artists stepping onto our stage, each bringing their own sound, style, and perspective. From global superstars like Anitta, Feid, and Kali Uchis to emerging artists building their audiences, these performances have given us a front-row seat to the ever-growing landscape of Latin music, and the chance to introduce some of its voices to new audiences around the world.
This Latin Heritage Month, we’re looking back at some of our most memorable COLORS moments with Latin artists over the years…
When Trueno stepped onto our stage to perform “No Cap”, we couldn't have expected his show-ending Crip Walk would spark a chain reaction online, turning his signature high-energy style into a dance trend that reached millions of new listeners. Similarly, Nathy Peluso’s performance of “SANA SANA” nearly broke the internet, sending viewers into an obsessive spiral over the Argentinian artist’s theatrical expressions, turning the performance into a viral moment in its own right.
But not every memorable performance needs to become a viral moment. Sometimes, it's the chemistry between artists, their individuality, or the world they create on stage that stays with us.
Last year, LATIN MAFIA debuted “Siento que merezco más” on COLORS, the only single released from their first album, Todos los días todo el día. The performance centres on the chemistry between the three Mexican brothers, showing just how in sync you can be when working with the people closest to you. That same sense of individuality and connection can be seen in CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, childhood friends from Argentina who refuse to stick to any one lane. Their genre-fluid style and gripping aesthetics are on full display across their two COLORS SHOWS, “Vida Loca” and “Ha Ha”. Two musical groups who brought their unique energy to TONES: Latin Mafia in Mexico City, and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso in Madrid, giving COLORS audiences live shows to remember.
Dominican rapper J Noa, known as “La Hija del Rap” (The Daughter of Rap), is one of the youngest artists to perform on our stage. Her performance of “Arrogante” set the stage ablaze as she rapped the entire three-minute track at bullet speed, seemingly without taking a breath. YEИDRY’s “Nena” showed another side of Dominican music, her soulful voice guiding audiences through a ballad about an immigrant mother sending blessings to her daughter. That sense of resilience and fearlessness is shared by Lido Pimienta, who sings, “Yo te soy sincero: si es que mañana muero, no le tengo miedo, pues soy mujer y llevo el dolor adentro” (“I’ll be honest with you: if I die tomorrow, I’m not afraid, for I am a woman and I carry the pain within”) on “Nada,” blending Afro-Indigenous Colombian rhythms with experimental electronic pop. Across these performances, strength takes many forms: speed, tenderness, vulnerability, and the courage to confront pain head-on.
Following her performance of “Gigante,” Chilean artist Mon Laferte shared with us, “At times I can suffer because of how pretty I see everything; there are other times where I feel disconnected, and I don't like it; I prefer to be in a state of being able to find the beauty in absolutely everything.” Her words capture something that runs through all of these performances: the willingness to draw from experience, emotion, identity, and vulnerability, and to turn those feelings into something shared. Whether making audiences dance, sing, or simply stop and listen, these artists show the many ways music can bring us closer together.
To celebrate Latin Heritage Month, we asked Mon Laferte to curate a special two-week takeover of our EXPLORE playlist, bringing together Latin artists who have performed on COLORS alongside songs that have inspired her, shaped her artistry, and reflect the richness of Latin music today.
