Sevn Alias – Warning
Few artists’ discographies are as stacked and diverse as Dutch rapper Sev Alias’. In just over half a decade, Sevn Alias (real name Sevaio Mook) has dropped five mixtapes, six solo studio albums and a collaborative album titled ‘All Eyez On Us’ with Kempi, Josylvio, Vic9, Latifah, Rocks & Kevin. Last month saw the release of ‘Six Summers’, another gargantuan effort from the Dutch star which features stand out single like ‘Sinner’, ‘Kenan & Kel’ and ‘Ayah’ along with collaborations with the likes of NAVI, Yeyo Sossa, Oomto, Idaly and more.
Today, Sevn Alias sets the COLORS stage alight with a scorching performance of new single ‘Warning’. The opening piano-led instrumentation coupled with Alias’ haunting tones creates an entirely immersive and eerie atmosphere before the crisp trap-beat works its way into the mix opening up the barricades for Mook to spit his fiery verses.
