Job Overview

COLORS as succeeded in building a platform that has created a space for creatives to share their art and vision. We are looking for a community manager to connect COLORS’ global network of interdisciplinary creatives & join them to co-create the world’s most impactful creator community.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

The community manager will be an integral part of our community platform team by:

  • Working with the community to identify needs & opportunities.
  • Driving the community calendar.
  • Onboarding new community members.
  • Identifying and inviting relevant new community members.
  • Hosting regular community calls.
  • Initially, the workload will be about 30-40 hours per month.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • An interest in culture, media and the arts are a must; being connected and up to date with trends and movements both in and out of the industry, and constantly looking for opportunities for this to inspire your creative work.
  • A network in relevant music scenes.
  • Hands-on experience and community participation in web3 and confident about your ability to explain these concepts to fellow creatives.
  • Highly familiar with tools such as Discord & major social media platforms.
  • Highly proficient written and verbal English-language skills. French, Spanish and Portuguese are a big plus, as are other languages.
  • Not shy to jump on calls from big to small.
  • Great communication skills, excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving ability.
  • A person who is creative, open, and genuine.
  • An empathetic team player who works well with others from diverse backgrounds.An example of our values, a trusted and respected colleague.
  • Good to have: a few years of prior community management experience.
  • Good to have: graphic design chops.
  • Good to have: participative experience in DAOs.

We are looking for a talented full-stack developer (freelance) to work with our Community Platform Lead and help connect our global community of creatives.

  • Design and build infrastructure and product for a global creative community.

What skills you bring:

  • Proven background in full-stack web development with a passion to build and craft tech products from scratch that have impact.
  • Technical experience, fields of work: React + Next.js, WordPress as headless CMS, WordPress backend customisations, Node.js.
  • Fluent in English, React + Next.js.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge, understanding, and care for the diverse cultures and music that we cover.
  • Nice to have: UI/UX design proficiency.

+++ Accountant / Back Office Administrator +++

Job Overview

COLORS has succeeded in building a platform that has created a space for creatives to share their art and vision. Reporting to our Berlin office, you will be a key contributor on our team. As an Accountant/Back Office Administrator you will help maintain smooth financial operations to help us build our growing team. You will operate in a safe space for creativity whilst working with a team that is open to ideas and change.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

The Accountant / Back Office Administrator will be a integral part of our creative team by:

  • Preparing company financial accounting (booking and tracking of current business transactions, cash and bank accounts)
  • Auditing of invoices
  • Reconciling of financial accounting analyses
  • Reconciling of the open accounts payable and accounts receivable lists
  • Monthly reconciling of provisions, payroll accounts, accruals, pending invoices and transit accounts
  • Managing key financial correspondence from headquarter

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Completed training and/or professional experience in preparatory accounting or financial accounting, accounts payable accounting
  • Highly competent in DATEV
  • Proficient handling of MS-Office (especially Excel) and G-Suite
  • German required, other languages is a big plus
  • Systematic, reliable, precise and a careful way of working
  • Strong analytical skills, a high degree of flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Affinity for culture, creativity and music
