Working Student (m/f/d) - Artist Relations

Berlin — 20 hours per week

ABOUT US
COLORS is a unique aesthetic music platform showcasing exceptional talent from all around the globe, focused on promoting the most distinctive new artists and original sounds. In the context of an increasingly fragmented and saturated scene, we seek to provide clarity and calm, offering a minimalistic stage to shine a spotlight on the artists and give them the opportunity to present their music without distraction.

YOUR ROLE
As a working student, you will support the Artist Relations & Curation teams in working across artist-facing releases to ensure a smooth partner experience, and serving as an internal representative of artists and their teams in distributing information across departments.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
The role will support and assist with the general day-to-day operations of the Artist Relations & Curation teams, serving as a clear, reliable communicator of key processes.
Example tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with co-ordinating content approvals and manage asset distribution to ensure smooth campaign rollouts
  • Ensuring all post-production deadlines are met and key stakeholders are regularly updated on status of projects
  • Providing guidance and communication to artists and their teams throughout campaigns to gather feedback/updates
  • Creating informational materials about artists we’re working with for both internal and external use
  • Maintaining and updating artist-facing project management systems (e.g., alumni databases, release overviews, follow-ups) to ensure internal teams are aligned

WHO YOU ARE:
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about music and committed to creating respectful, artist-first experiences. You might be a great fit if you:

  • Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. Media & Communications, Music, Cultural Studies, or related).
  • Have a deep appreciation for the diversity of music cultures represented on COLORS.
  • Bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Are structured and independent in your working style, with strong organizational abilities.
  • Feel confident in project coordination, with experience using tools like Notion, Monday.com, and Google Workspace.
  • Are fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are a big plus.
  • Have a proactive, curious, and hands-on approach to learning and contributing.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • A high level of ownership, creative input, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to a growing global brand.
  • A supportive, inspiring work environment with flexibility and hybrid working opportunities.
  • Access to our offices in Berlin, London, and (soon) New York, plus a 3-week Winter Break during the holidays.
  • Annual team events and occasional opportunities to travel.
  • Guest talks, DE&I workshops, and access to events from COLORS alumni.
  • Wellbeing benefits such as a USC/ClassPass subsidy (depending on location).
  • A quarterly allocation of COLORS merch.
