YOUR ROLE
COLORS has succeeded in building a platform that supports and celebrates creative talent around the world. We’re currently looking for a Junior Finance Manager to join our Finance team and support the company’s financial operations as we continue to grow. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and other departments to assist with day-to-day financial tasks, help maintain accurate financial records, and support the development of efficient financial processes across the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Operational Finance & Day-to-Day Support
    • Coordinate incoming and outgoing invoices and ensure timely processing and documentation.
    • Follow up on open receivables and liaise with clients or account managers as needed.
    • Ensure smooth approval and payment processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
    • Support monthly closing activities by collecting and organizing financial data.
  • Controlling & Budget Management
    • Support the preparation and tracking of budgets, forecasts, and actuals across departments.
    • Assist in regular financial reporting (e.g. monthly budget vs. actuals, cash flow reports, variance analyses).
    • Maintain and update internal trackers (e.g. cost control sheets, royalty flows, headcount budgets).
    • Monitor key financial KPIs and support budget owners with relevant insights.
  • Communication & Documentation
    • Serve as the first point of contact for internal teams regarding budget, invoice, or cost-related questions
    • Coordinate with external vendors (e.g. accountants, tax advisors, royalty service providers)
    • Ensure finance documents (invoices, contracts, tax records) are organized, accessible, and up-to-date
  • Team & Process Support
    • Help onboard and coordinate working students or freelancers involved in finance tasks.
    • Support the documentation and improvement of internal finance processes (e.g. invoice approval flows, budget request procedures).

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have an understanding of core finance processes (e.g. monthly close, budget tracking, controlling).
  • You have experience coordinating with external accounting firms and service providers (e.g. royalty platforms).
  • You are proficient in Excel / Google Sheets skills for data handling, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • You have a basic understanding of German accounting standards, ideally with exposure to HGB.
  • You are structured and work in a proactive way, taking ownership and following through without needing close supervision.
  • You possess strong communication skills in English & German (with any other European languages being a plus), especially when aligning with internal departments and external partners.

NICE TO HAVE (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

  • DATEV knowledge (particularly the ability to extract reports, navigate the interface, and communicate effectively with tax advisors).
  • Experience in financial data preparation for management reporting or investor updates.
  • Familiarity with project-based or creative industries (e.g. music, media, or entertainment).
  • Basic experience with forecasting or financial modelling.
  • Comfort working in a small, scaling team. Someone who’s hands-on, adaptable, and not afraid of a fast-paced environment.

At COLORS, the Freelance Senior Creative Producer is both a cultural storyteller and an operational leader. This role drives the execution of large-scale productions and partnership projects while also shaping the systems, teams, and processes that expand COLORS’ creative and global impact. The Senior Creative Producer balances artistic vision with operational rigor, ensuring every production upholds the COLORS aesthetic and mission: showcasing exceptional talent in the most authentic way.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Day-to-Day Production & Operations (25%)
    • Oversee recurring COLORS productions (studio shoots, content requests, deliverables).
    • Manage multiple budgets, schedules, and workflows to ensure timely delivery.
    • Supervise producers and coordinators, mentoring and setting standards for COLORS’ production values.
    • Ensure the artist experience is seamless, respectful, and aligned with COLORS’ ethos.
    • Refine studio operations, balancing recurring production needs with new creative formats.
  • Partnerships & Strategic Projects (50%)
    • Lead major campaigns, co-branded activations, and multi-format productions.
    • Translate briefs into COLORS-specific creative strategies that balance authenticity and business objectives.
    • Act as the senior liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear alignment.
    • Oversee cross-functional teams (creative, artist relations, curation, post-production, platforms) to deliver high-quality assets.
    • Introduce new production approaches and formats to meet evolving creative opportunities.
  • Organizational Innovation & Development (25%)
    • Build scalable systems and templates to improve efficiency across teams.
    • Contribute to COLORS’ growth by shaping team structures, onboarding talent, and expanding the freelance network.
    • Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and experimentation.
    • Partner with leadership to align production capacity with long-term strategic goals.
    • Push innovation in sustainability, artist care, and cross-team workflows.

The Line Producer thrives in complexity, balancing multiple stakeholders and deliverables while protecting COLORS’ creative integrity and operational sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Partnerships & Campaigns (60%)
    • Manage budgets and schedules for large-scale brand partnerships, activations, and co-branded content.
    • Oversee cost tracking, vendor negotiations, and reconciliation specific to external client projects.
    • Translate partner briefs into production-ready operational plans.
    • Liaise with brand stakeholders, agencies, and venues to secure resources and ensure smooth execution.
    • Anticipate risks and implement solutions for multi-city or multi-format campaigns.
  • Core Productions & Content (20%)
    • Support COLORS studio productions that intersect with partner deliverables (e.g., sponsored shows, content cutdowns).
    • Coordinate logistic budget envelopes for Producer(s) to source needs such as crew, equipment, and locations for productions tied to campaigns.
    • Ensure consistency between COLORS’ internal productions and external partnership expectations.
    • Oversee compliance (contracts, POs, insurance, legal requirements) for shoots tied to external partners.
  • Organizational Growth & Innovation (20%)
    • Build and refine systems for budget templates, vendor databases, and scheduling tools.
    • Mentor junior staff and freelancers in financial and logistical best practices.
    • Recommend process improvements to streamline partnership production workflows.
    • Contribute to COLORS’ long-term scalability by creating repeatable systems for campaign execution.
