Working Student (m/f/d) - Assistant to the General Manager

Berlin // 20 hours per week

ABOUT US
COLORS is a unique aesthetic music platform showcasing exceptional talent from all around the globe, focused on promoting the most distinctive new artists and original sounds. In the context of an increasingly fragmented and saturated scene, we seek to provide clarity and calm, offering a minimalistic stage to shine a spotlight on the artists and give them the opportunity to present their music without distraction.

YOUR ROLE
As a working student, you will support the General Manager (GM) in daily operations and help optimise workflow efficiency. You will take on a variety of organisational and administrative tasks while gaining exciting insights into the operations of COLORS.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Supporting the GM with administrative and organisational tasks
  • Coordinating and preparing meetings (including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups)
  • Assisting with team communication and internal processes
  • Managing documents, reports, and presentations
  • Supporting COLORS team operations: Artist Relations, Platforms & Curation
  • Assisting with social media and marketing tasks (as needed)
  • Conducting research and compiling relevant information
  • General office and project organisation

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in music business or technology, media & communications or a related field
  • A strong interest in the music industry, ideally with initial experience in a music company or a related environment
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Structured and independent working style
  • Strong organisational skills and enthusiasm for team coordination
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident demeanour
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel for managing large datasets.
  • Fluent in German & English (written & spoken), any other languages being a huge plus.
  • A proactive mindset, eager to learn and optimise workflows.
  • Passion for independent music and appreciation for diverse cultures and sounds featured on COLORS.
