Since introducing herself with ‘Right Thing’ back in 2013, London based singer/songwriter Rosie Lowe has gone onto stun with an EP of the same name, as well as release ‘Control’, her magnificent debut album. The 2016 record boasted Lowe’s richly textured sounds that ooze class and emotion on stand out cuts like ‘Worry Bout Us’, ‘Woman’ and ‘So Human’ which features Little Simz.
For her COLORS session, Rosie Lowe captivates with an enthralling rendition of ‘Birdsong’, which is produced by David Okumu and served as the lead single for her forthcoming sophomore album ‘YU’. The spacey production, comprising of funky guitar lines and a persistent beat is smothered by Lowe’s enticing and shimmering vocals, exuding a grandeur as it reaches the chorus which features backing vocals from Jamie Woon, Jamie Lidell, Kwabs and COLORS alum Jordan Rakei. Enjoy the spectacular performance of ‘Birdsong’ above and be sure to be sure to give ‘YU’ a spin too when it drops May 10th.
