Madison mcferrin – Try

Brooklyn based singer/songwriter Madison McFerrin may be born into a musical family of celebrated musicians (jazz vocalist Bobby McFerrin is her father), but she’s been paving her own path with her serene sounds. The Berklee College of Music graduate has revitalised a cappella music with her calm and soothing tones, narrating stories of love, heartbreak and life with a poignancy that hits home and really makes you feel. That’s exactly the case with her gorgeous EPs ‘Finding Foundations Vol. 1’ and ‘Finding Foundations Vol. 2[ each of which features three incredibly soulful compositions.

For her COLORS session, the Madison McFerrin enchants with the delicate intonations of her delectable upcoming single ‘TRY’. It comes as no surprise that it’s those rich, comforting tones that steal the show here – McFerrin’s voice glides across the twinkling soundscape with a gracefulness that further adds to the track’s relaxing aesthetic. A shift from her a cappella concoctions, ‘TRY’ is the first taste of the singer’s forthcoming debut album – check it out above and be sure to give McFerrin’s stunning EPs a listen too
