Little Dragon – Another Lover
Consisting of Yukimi Nagano (vocals, percussion), Erik Bodin (drums), Fredrik Wallin (bass) and Håkan Wirenstrand (keyboards), Swedish electronic outfit Little Dragon have been sharing their eclectic and enchanting sounds for well over a decade. From their delightful self-titled debut album ‘Little Dragon’ which dropped in 2007 to recent record ‘Season High’ from 2017, the quartet have continually brought fresh and invigorating ideas whilst adhering to their signature funk-filled sound. That’s exactly the case with their sixth studio album ‘New Me, Same Us’ which features previously released single ‘Are You Feeling Sad?’ (featuring COLORS alumni Kali Uchis) and ‘Hold On’.
Dressed in a resplendent blue gown, lead vocalist Yukimi Nagano serves up a dazzling rendition of ‘Another Lover’ for COLORS. The funk-filled instrumentation (self-produced by the band) is the perfect backdrop to guide Nagano’s effortlessly graceful and emotive vocals into your heart.
