Lido pimienta – nada
Colombian-Canadian artist Lido Pimienta returned with the spectacular ‘No Pude’ towards the end of last year. Serving as her first taste of new music since releasing the Canadian Polaris Prize-winning album ‘La Papessa’, the track brilliantly blended together a mixture of squelchy and sharp electronics that allowed Pimienta’s heavenly tones to glide across with ease. The single is taken from Pimienta’s new album ‘Miss Colombia’ which will also feature previously released single ‘Eso Que Tu Haces’.
For her COLORS session, Lido Pimienta delivers a dreamy and transcendent performance of ‘Nada’, another startlingly beautiful and breathtaking cut from ‘Miss Colombia’. Featuring the equally captivating and healing vocals of Li Saumet, ‘Nada’ sees Pimienta reflecting on the power and strains that a mother experiences.
