L.A.X – Lockdown | A COLORS SHOW
Born Damilola Afolabi, L.A.X is a Nigerian singer and songwriter from Lagos. Since releasing his debut single, ‘Caro’, which he collaborated on with Wizkid in 2013, he has garnered widespread acclaim for his infectious melodies and smooth vocals. To date, L.A.X has released three studio albums: ‘Rasaking’ (2018), ‘ZaZa Vibes’ (2020), and ‘No Bad Vibes’ (2023), which includes highlights like ‘Options’ (with COLORS alumna Ayra Starr), ‘Waist Drop’, and ‘Para’.
For COLORS, L.A.X. serves up an infectious performance of ‘Lockdown’, a new single that will feature on the upcoming deluxe version of ‘No Bad Vibes’. Showcasing his signature blend of Afrobeats and Amapiano, the track sees the artist lay down buttery smooth vocals, exploring themes of passion, love, and infatuation in the process.
