Karungari, known professionally as Karun, is a Kenyan singer-songwriter, music producer, and instrumentalist who has been making waves across East Africa and beyond with her eclectic brand of alternative R&B. An alum of the Berklee College of Music, and former member of the BET-nominated hip-hop group Camp Mulla, Karun’s solo-career began with the release of her debut project, ‘Sun & Moon’ in 2013. Since then, the Nairobi-based artist has impressed with her meditative sounds, and honest songwriting on ‘Catch A Vibe’ (2021), a project which includes highlights like, ‘Here With Me’, and ‘Paths’ (ft. Higo & Mpho Sebina).
