Kari Faux – ME FIRST | A COLORS SHOW
Arkansas-raised, Texas-based rapper, singer, producer, DJ, and designer Kari Faux’s music is a melting pot of sounds and influences. Having released a number of mixtapes including ‘City Limits’ (2012), ‘Sophisticated Rachetness’ (2012), ‘No Sleep Til Atlanta’ (2013), and ‘Laugh Now, Die Later’ (2014) early on in her career, the multi-faceted artist has continually impressed with her unique rhyming style and sultry delivery. In 2016, Faux released her debut studio album ‘Lost En Los Angeles’, and in 2021 dropped ‘Lowkey Superstar Deluxe’, a re-release of her 2020 mixtape of the same name including collaborations with COLORS alums JID and Smino.
For her A COLORS SHOW, Faux debuts her brand new single ‘ME FIRST’. With production by Michael E. Neil, Dawoyne Lawson, and Vashon Vernon, the track’s booming bass-heavy beat sprinkled with synths serves as the perfect backdrop for Faux to lay down her slick rhymes.
