Jamilah Barry – If The Love Goes (prod. P2J) | A COLORS SHOW
Last summer, London-based artist Jamilah Barry dropped by the COLORS stage to deliver a magical performance of her single ‘Cut Me Open’. Her silken tones coupled with her emotive songwriting have captivated audiences over the past few years. Barry’s standout releases include her 2020 EP ‘Romance Me’, as well as collaborations with the likes of Frenzy, MIDNIGHT PHUNK, and Caleb Femi.
Today, the artist returns to COLORS for an exclusive performance of ‘If The Love Goes’, a new single created in collaboration with acclaimed British-Nigerian producer P2J, who has worked with Beyoncé, Burna Boy and Wizkid as well as COLORS alums FKA twigs, Jessie Reyez and Alicia Keys.
The vibrant performance serves as the second installment in our DUOTONE series, which celebrates the relationship between artists and producers by inviting them to work together on exclusive new songs. Developed in partnership with music creation platform Splice, the series kicked off earlier this year with a collaboration between RIMON and Mike Hector, which you can see here.
