J Warner – Superstar | A COLORS SHOW
South London-raised singer, songwriter and producer J Warner first emerged in 2015 with his debut EP ‘Est. 1990’, a 90s-inspired project including collaborations with the likes of Wretch 32 and COLORS alum Kojey Radical. In 2020, Warner released his follow up project ‘Figure 8’, which features standout singles such as ‘Strawberry Moon’ and ‘Stay For a While’. This year, Warner released ‘‘Golden Highs’, a dreamy, atmospheric song about finding your soul mate.
For his COLORS debut, J Warner showcases his unique approach to alternative R&B in a slick performance of ‘Superstar’, a new single from his forthcoming EP. Lyrically exploring the ups and downs of a relationship, the track sets Warner’s lush harmonies and vivid storytelling against a soundscape of groovy guitars and a swinging beat.
