For well over a decade, Dutch artist and songwriter Eefje de Visser has enchanted listeners with her unique brand of alternative pop. Since releasing ‘De Koek’, her debut studio album, in 2011, she has dropped numerous follow up records, including ‘Het Is’ (2013), ‘Nachtlicht’ (2016), and ‘Bitterzoet’ (2020), the last of which featured vulnerable, authentic tracks that de Visser wrote during the pandemic, her pregnancy, and first months of motherhood.
For COLORS, de Visser shares a hypnotic rendition of ‘Ik Weet Dat Hij Het Wil’, a brand new single that will feature on her forthcoming fifth album ‘Heimwee’. Against an eerie soundscape of guitar chords and a relentless beat, Eefje employs ethereal, effortless vocals to reflect on a lost love.
