Bellah x Gaidaa – As You Are | A COLORS SHOW
British-Nigerian artist Bellah and Dutch-Sudanese singer-songwriter Gaidaa first captured the hearts of COLORS audiences with their exceptional performances of ‘Evil Eye’ (2021) and ‘Morning Blue’ (2019) / ‘let me’ (2021) respectively. Since then, Bellah’s released her incredible ‘Adulstville’ EP, including an extended version of ‘Evil Eye’, and Gaidaa’s dropped her debut album ‘Overture’ (2020) as well as a handful of singles including ‘Figures’ (2022) and ‘transit’ (2023).
Now, the artists have joined forces for a very special A COLORS SHOW performance of their new collaborative single ‘As You Are’. Developed last year in Paris during COLORS’ first ever writing camp, the track showcases the artists’ palpable chemistry as they perform soulful vocals against a soundscape of dreamy guitars and a classic R&B beat.
