Jason Dhakal & dot.jaime – Night In

Born in Oman and now based in the Philippines, model and singer Jason Dhakal is a serious talent. With a penchant for smooth, contemporary R&B, he’s collaborated with Iloilo-based producer dot.jaime on ‘Night In’, a debut EP built for its own name: lonely, late-night feelings. Though he originally began his music career “accidentally” during a sleepover at his friend’s house, Jason Dhakal, at only 17-years-old, now offers an impressive sound full of sultry passion.

Claire Laffut – Nudes (ft. Yseult)

If you’re looking for a smooth pop track that’s packed with groove, look no further than ‘Nudes’, the dazzling new single from French based, Belgian born artist, singer and model Claire Laffut. French artist Flavien Berger delivers masterful soundscapes that entice and draw you in on new album ‘Contre-Temps’. Split into two parts, the 31-track project features contributions from Julia Lanoë and Bonnie Banane and takes you on a cosmic journey of scintillating synth pop concoctions that are topped off by Berger’s calming voice. ‘Contre-Temps’ is an album that intrigues and captivates you from start to finish, with each track seamlessly leading into the next.

M. T. Hadley – Rattle

Since releasing his exceptional debut single ‘Janet’ in 2016, London singer/songwriter M. T. Hadley has worked with the likes of COLORS alum Nilüfer Yanya as well as Tobias Jesso Jr and members of the Paul Institute. Today, Hadley marks his return with ‘Rattle’, a hazy pop track that Hadley wrote when he was twenty. ‘Rattle’ features his serene falsetto-laden vocals as he sings to a newborn baby about the hardships of life: “You will feel nothing but heartache…you will see nothing but mistakes, as tragedy blooms.” he sings in the track’s chorus.

MIRRROR – FIFTY (like that)

Rising Bay Area/Japanese duo MIRRROR (comprised of Takumi and Mei) showcase their eclectic sounds with the release of brand new single ‘FIFTY (like that)’. A mellow club track that boasts gorgeous synths and keys, the electronic-led production is given warmth by the pair’s soothing tones. ‘FIFTY (like that)’, follows up the duo’s ‘what it was’ project, which featured stand out cuts like ‘Never Fall In Love’ and ’35’.

Spitfire – Paathshala

Twenty year old rapper Spitfire from Madhya Pradesh first encountered hip-hop when he was in the 11th grade. His debut EP ‘Paathshala’, released on IncInk Records, talks about his own life story and how he found the strength to break through stereotypes and find his own identity. An interesting spoken-word poetry approach layered with an offbeat and ambient atmosphere suits Nitin’s poetic chops the best. The underlying theme of the EP revolves around how hip-hop and rap as an art form has added a lot of value in his life making him the person that he is today and how he would like to exercise this medium to continue to teach and inform his audiences. With vigour and boldness in his voice and word play ‘Paathshala’ can be quite accessible to tune into at a club or at home.

Feels – Thrill (ft. Melii)

Feels, the acclaimed Danish songwriter/producer duo comprised of Siná Mousavian and David Evers are making waves in Denmark with their first track ‘Thrill’. The effervescent single delivers an infectious urban pop tune, infused with dynamic beats and Latino dance influences throughout. Cashmere Cat – EMOTIONS

Norweigian producer Magnus August Høiberg  aka Cashmere Cat shares ‘EMOTIONS’, the playful and vibrant lead single from his forthcoming sophomore album ‘PRINCESS CATGIRL’. The track is Cashmere Cat’s first taste of new solo music since last year’s ‘Miss You’ with Major Lazer and Tory Lanez. Embodying Høiberg’s signature pop prowess, ‘EMOTIONS’ is another delectable cut that might just get you crying and on the dance floor – but not necessarily in that order!

Leo Kalyan – time can wait

London based singer, songwriter and producer Leo Kalyan has been releasing gem after gem over the past few years; swirling sounds that intertwine R&B, electronic, pop with South Asian nuggets thrown in to create a sound that hits the spot every time. That’s exactly the case with his latest offering ‘time can wait’, a sparkling cut that sees the singer’s falsetto-laden vocals traverse a soundscape of breezy electronics.

BROCKHAMPTON – IF YOU PRAY RIGHT

BROCKHAMPTON have revitalised and redefined what it is to be a “boy band” over the past year years. With four stellar projects under their belt, the supergroup are in the process of rolling out album number five, which is titled ‘Ginger’ and features previously released single ‘I Been Born Again’. On follow up single ‘IF YOU PRAY RIGHT’, which is accompanied by a futuristic Spencer Ford directed visual, the members work their magic once more with slick production and equally cool verses from the likes of Dom McLennon, Joba, Matt Champion and Merlyn Wood.

Ebhoni – Cook Food

Toronto based model/singer/rapper Ebhoni’s latest single ‘Cook Food’ packs quite the punch. Produced by DJ Florentino, the track boasts a slick trap-inspired beat, which serves as the perfect backdrop for Ebhoni to lay down her super smooth vocals. What makes this track hit that extra bit harder though, is Ebhoni’s songwriting – the lyrics cutting through sharper than ever with lines like “You say you love me like ‘Cook Food’ / but only when he in a good mood”.

Petrie – Couldn’t Cry

London based duo Petrie release ‘Couldn’t Cry’, a guitar-laden indie pop gem that serves as the follow up to previous single ‘Personal Space’. Having released their delightful debut album ‘Superstore’ earlier this year, Laurie and George continue to keep the ball rolling with the new single. A sparkling track which sees the pair replace their signature sizzling synths and funk filled beats with soothing guitar tones and simple electronic drums, ‘Couldn’t Cry’ is yet another stunner from the Londoners.

KOPS – Four Eyes

Oskar Kops Kronback also known as KOPS is a 21 year old singer, songwriter, and producer from Denmark. His latest single ‘Four Eyes’ expands upon KOPS’ signature sound where multiple genres clash together and catch your attention with delightful choruses and intriguing pop melodies. Lyrically the song revolves around unfaithful love and the frustration that follows. It is all wrapped up in a sonically interesting and sprawling universe.

Flume – Quits (with Reo Cragun)

Australian beatsmith Flume teams up with singer-rapper Reo Cragun to release ‘Quits’, a staggering and powerful three-track EP. Featuring a new edit of previously released single ‘Friends’, the project opens with title-track ‘Quits’ which boasts Flume’s signature instrumentation giving Cragun the platform to lay down his own slick verses. In the middle, is ‘Levitate’, another tantalisingly smooth and powerful track that opens with the chirping of birds before introducing a pounding bass and synth heavy beat.

Kaiya Crawford – Mama

Los Angeles based singer, songwriter and producer Kaiya Crawford has shared ‘Mama’, her delightful second album. Dedicated to her mother, the ten-track project is a timeless affair which sees Crawford channel a throwback R&B vibe whilst bringing her own refreshing twist to the mix. Whether it’s the smooth intonations of ‘On Me’ and ‘Bootstraps’, or the fiery atmospherics of ‘Slow The Motion’ and ‘2009’, Crawford shines from start to finish.

Chiiild – Count Me Out

Consider yourself introduced to Chiiild, a band from Montreal who step into the limelight with debut single ‘Count Me Out’. With production credits that include working on Grammy award winning albums with Skrillex and Diplo to writing and producing with Lady Gaga and Usher and inspired by the likes of Tame Impala and D’Angelo, Chiild’s debut captures a blend of sounds from pop, R&B and soul to jazz. Paranoid 1966 – Niñxs Malxs

Alicante based artist Paranoid 1966’s latest single ‘Niñxs Malxs’, produced by Boixy, is an absolute blast. Sound-tracked by a trap-inspired beat, the Spanish singer/songwriter/rapper shows her versatility with a combination of super sharp verses that’re topped off nicely with her smooth intonations in the hook. Accompanied by an equally fiery and playful music video, ‘Niñxs Malxs’ will have you up and about in no time at all.

Nina Chuba – White Shirt

Nina Chuba is an emerging artist from Hamburg, Germany, and ‘White Shirt’ is her emphatic debut single. Packing quite the punch, the song opens with subtle piano chords before spiralling into a powerful pop track that sees the singer/songwriter’s soulful voice soar. Madras born, Austin based artist Abhi The Nomad shares the eclectic ‘House of Clocks’, taken from his forthcoming ‘Modern Trash’ album. Having lived in eight countries by the time he was twenty one, it comes as no surprise that Abhi The Nomad’s music is a globally conscious commentary on our planet’s current state. That’s exactly the case with ‘House of Clocks’, an otherwise spirited track which touches on environmental issues and how we still have a long way to go in saving the planet.
