Meth Math – Pompi

Mexican trio Meth Math, comprised of vocalist Angél Ballesteros and producers error.error (Efrén Coronado) and Bonsai Babies (To Robles), share their exceptional EP ‘Pompi’. Petite Noir & Kingdom – CoeurWorld

South African artist Yannick Ilunga aka Petite Noir teams up with American producer Kingdom on new double single ‘CoeurWorld’; Noir’s first release since 2018’s ‘La Maison Noir / The Black House’ EP. Kingdom lays down explosive bass heavy beats on ‘Alive’ and ‘Through The Bad Times’ as Ilunga’s rich vocals pierce through the soundscapes as his words empower and console. Canadian artist and multi-instrumentalist Zanski shares ‘Consequence’, the first single from his forthcoming EP ‘Upon Frigid Water’. With a handful of brilliant EPs released over the years, Tom Probizanski has continually showcased his versatility as a singer, songwriter and producer, and that’s exactly the case with ‘Consequence’. Another sparkling electronically laced R&B cut that boasts some stellar guitar licks and Zanski’s superb falsetto, the single serves as the perfect opener to this next chapter from the rising artist’s discography.

pecas – Hired Gun

Brooklyn based artist pecas aka Sandy Davis shares sensual and magical new electronic-led single ‘Hired Gun’ accompanied by a striking visual. The sparse production allows breathing space for Davis’ impeccably smooth and icy vocals to sweep across as she sings about “an imperfect human trying to love and be loved by a robotic counterpart”. Woodkid – Goliath

Paris based singer, songwriter, producer and director Woodkid (aka Yoann Lemoine) returns with cinematic and atmospheric new single ‘Goliath’, the lead cut from his forthcoming second album. The single serves as the first taste of music from Woodkid who exploded onto the scene back in 2011 with his exceptional ‘Iron’ EP which was succeeded by his debut full length ‘The Golden Age’ in 2013. Apashe – Behind My Eyes (ft. LIA)

Montreal based artist Apashe aka John De Buck teams up with LIA on spectacular new single ‘Behind My Eyes’ taken from his newly released album ‘Renaissance’. NEO 10Y – Y

Rising London based artist NEO 10Y shares ‘Y’, an ethereal curiosity banger that boasts a powerful electronic soundscape penned alongside S.B.O. The track follows up previously released cut ‘ILY’ and strikes quite a chord from the get go with its pounding bass and NEO 10Y’s inviting and intriguing vocals which ask “Am I right or am I wrong?”. Kllo – Still Here

Melbourne based duo Kllo (Chloe Kaul and Simon Lam) return with the electric new single ‘Still Here’ taken from their forthcoming album ‘Maybe We Could’. Driven by a set of 90’s inspired rave-drums, the track is given a gentle touch with some delicate piano chords and Kaul’s consoling vocals yearn for understanding as she sings about an emotionally suffocating relationship. Consider yourself introduced to the hypnotic and captivating sounds of South London based artist Amani who impresses on ‘Power Games’. French duo Première Fois (comprised of Jordane Saunal and Raphaël D’hervez) share dazzling new synthpop cut in the form of ‘Pur Sang’. A refreshing amalgamation of electronica, pop, hip-hop and soul, ‘Pur Sang’ sees the pair’s soothing tones intertwine wonderfully as glorious synths and a super sharp beat serve as the perfect backdrop. Anish Sood – Running Back To You (ft. Lisa Mishra)

Goa, India based producer and DJ Anish Sood teams up with Lisa Mishra on the dance floor ready anthem ‘Running Back To You’. Serving as the follow up to previously released singles like ‘Mountain of A Man’ and ‘Castles’, ‘Running Back To You’ sees a classic electronic beat sweeping across the soundscape as Mishra adds her gentle and sweet sounding vocals on top. Sega Bodega – Salvador

If you’re looking for a record that will quite frankly blow your socks off, look no further than Glaswegian producer, singer and songwriter Sega Bodega’s long-awaited debut album ‘Salvador’. The off-kilter record is a futuristic blend of pop, electronic and R&B that features previously released singles ‘U Suck’, ‘Raising Hell’ and ‘Salv Goes to Hollywood’. Sega Bodega’s infectious production and hypnotic vocals are present throughout ‘Salvador’, but what makes this album hit harder is the songwriting – where Salvador tackles heavy topics like his relationship with alcohol, romance and mental health with a graceful honesty.

Grimes – Delete Forever

Grimes shares yet another delightful cut from her forthcoming new album ‘Miss Anthropocene’ in the form of ‘Delete Forever’. Accompanied by an apocalyptic music video (made in collaboration between Grimes, Mac Boucher and Neil Hansen) which sees Grimes sat on a throne of sorts whilst everything around her crumbles, the track is driven by soothing guitar lines and strings that wonderfully carry Grimes’ angelic vocals. Against All Logic – Illusions Of Shameless Abundance

Chilean-American producer Nicolas Jaar teases new Against All Logic album with double-A side EP ‘Illusions of Shameless Abundance’. The two tracks ‘Alucinao’ (featuring FKA twigs and Estado Unido) and ‘Illusions of Shameless Abundance’ (featuring Lydia Lunch)’ are shape-shifting electronic cuts that twist and turn, dip and dive in all directions. If this EP is anything to go by, the new record (titled ‘2017-2019’ which is out February 7th), is shaping up to be one of the most striking and vivid projects you’ll hear this year.

SEVDALIZA – OH MY GOD

Dutch/Iranian artist SEVDALIZA marks her return with the hypnotic electronic-led single ‘OH MY GOD’, which comes with a heartwarming visual that patches together snapshots of the producer’s past. The distorted production and pitched vocals are a nod to SEVDALIZA’s signature augmented sounds as she alludes to the current current sociopolitical climate between the United States and her birthplace of Iran.

Premiere: Wuh Oh – How Do You Do It

Premiering at COLORS, check out the absolutely bonkers music video for ‘How Do You Do It’, the latest single from Glasgow based DJ/producer Peter Ferguson aka Wuh Oh. An amalgamation of powerful and energetic electronics, ‘How Do You Do It’ follows up previous cuts like ‘Pretty Boy’ and ‘Ziggy’, and perfectly exemplifies Wuh Oh’s forward-thinking production style. The same can be said for the track’s accompanying visual, which channels “the style of 90’s/00’s fish-eye lens visuals” a la Hype Williams, but cranks up the energy ten-fold – see for yourself here.
