Somali-American fashion designer and artist deka shares ‘Tepid’, a dark and twisted fantastical electronic gem produced by frankie bash and RAFA MAYA. Apart from a few (brilliant) mixes, you can only find one other song by the Minneapolis based artist, it’s the mesmerising ‘ESCAPIST’ which dropped in 2017. On latest single ‘Tepid’, deka’s ghostly vocals creep across the moody soundscape creating an absolutely breathtaking atmosphere.
The Galleria aka Morgan Geist returns after four years with brand new single ‘Stop & Go’, featuring the sensational Jessy Lanza. The follow up to 2015’s magnificent ‘Calling Card/Mezzanine’ is another slice of 80’s inspired bubblegum-pop packed with oodles of groove and funk and Lanza’s sweet sounding vocals adding a sugary touch.

Los Angeles based singer/songwriter McCall shares a brilliant music video for latest single ‘Right?’, which follows her ‘Under the Reign’ EP. Opening with the gentle strums of the acoustic guitar, the track quickly takes a turn as McCall’s commanding vocals pierce through the soundscape with killer line “It’s what you wanted right? / Wanted to fuck yourself a new girl right in my sight”. This is uttered as sparkling synths ride across a persistent electronic beat – creating an utterly empowering aesthetic, one that’s carried through in the Griffin Meyer directed clip.
Since being blown away by his fantastic debut single ‘Votk’ this past summer, Canadian artist Moël has gone onto release debut EP ‘Kopia’. The seven-track project captures the artist’s elegant and sophisticated production with stirring narratives that are topped off by Moël’s captivating vocals. From the slow burning ‘Prayers’, to the almost-choral, stunning beauty of ‘Fire Loft’, Moël captivates you from start to finish.
Influenced by the likes of Frank Ocean and Elvis Presley, Tampa based artist Luke Wild introduces himself with the dreamy ‘Fever Brain’. Opening with the gentle strums of the guitar and Wild’s serene vocals, the track blossoms into an indie-electronic cut that encompasses an air of nostalgia. On ‘Fever Brain’, you can definitely hear those influences seeping through, yet the self-produced song finds the sweet spot in creating a sound that is Wild’s own.

Produced by DJ Florentino, the track boasts a slick trap-inspired beat, which serves as the perfect backdrop for Ebhoni to lay down her super smooth vocals. What makes this track hit that extra bit harder though, is Ebhoni’s songwriting – the lyrics cutting through sharper than ever with lines like “You say you love me like ‘Cook Food’ / but only when he in a good mood”.
