Los Angeles based singer/songwriter McCall shares a brilliant music video for latest single ‘Right?’, which follows her ‘Under the Reign’ EP. Opening with the gentle strums of the acoustic guitar, the track quickly takes a turn as McCall’s commanding vocals pierce through the soundscape with killer line “It’s what you wanted right? / Wanted to fuck yourself a new girl right in my sight”. This is uttered as sparkling synths ride across a persistent electronic beat – creating an utterly empowering aesthetic, one that’s carried through in the Griffin Meyer directed clip.
Influenced by the likes of Frank Ocean and Elvis Presley, Tampa based artist Luke Wild introduces himself with the dreamy ‘Fever Brain’. Opening with the gentle strums of the guitar and Wild’s serene vocals, the track blossoms into an indie-electronic cut that encompasses an air of nostalgia. On ‘Fever Brain’, you can definitely hear those influences seeping through, yet the self-produced song finds the sweet spot in creating a sound that is Wild’s own.
Songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Terrell Hines releases ‘St. Mark Road’, a powerful genre-bending EP that impresses from start to finish. New York outfit altopalo, comprised of Rahm Silverglade, Mike Haldeman, Dillon Treacy, and Jesse Bielenberg, share ‘Letdown’, the follow up to previously released song ‘Mud’. Having dropped their fabulous debut album ‘frozenthere’ last year, the quartet continue to impress with ‘Letdown’, an icy, electronic-trap cut that finds depth and soul in its minimalist instrumentation which gleans from indie, pop, rock,trap, soul, electronic and everything else in between.
Los Angeles based duo mai.la (comprised of cait & katie) share ‘maybe ୧(ಠ益ಠ)୨’, a blisteringly vibrant and atmospheric pop gem that’s taken from their forthcoming EP titled ‘Blush’. Serving as the follow up to previously heard singles ‘Ready’ and ‘Crash’ which were released in 2016 and 2018 respectively, the cut boasts a powerful guitar-driven beat that’s brightened by the pair’s anthemic vocals.

L.A. based violinist, singer, songwriter and producer Sudan Archives unveils ‘Confessions’, the lead single from her forthcoming debut album. Produced by Sudan Archives and Will Archer, the track follows up last year’s sensational ‘Sink’ EP which featured stand out singles like ‘Nont For Sale’ and ‘Escape’. On ‘Confessions’, Sudan Archives enlists a sporadic and bold beat which creeps its way across whilst her soulful tones add a comforting warmth.

Having lived in eight countries by the time he was twenty one, it comes as no surprise that Abhi The Nomad’s music is a globally conscious commentary on our planet’s current state. That’s exactly the case with ‘House of Clocks’, an otherwise spirited track which touches on environmental issues and how we still have a long way to go in saving the planet. Brooklyn/Tel Aviv based producer, guitarist, and composer O Mer serves up ‘Repack The Junk’, a groovy gem taken from his forthcoming EP of the same name. Featuring previously released singles ‘Devil Girl’ and ‘Silver Surfer’, his brilliant debut album ‘Playroom’ which is released via In Real Life, is packed with tracks that are just as diverse as they are playful. Formerly of indie-pop outfit Chairlift, singer/songwriter Caroline Polachek unveils her sparkling debut solo effort in the form of ‘Door’. L.A. based duo DJDS (comprised of Same and Jerome) team up with R&B singer Dijon on the magical ‘Magic Loop. Serving as the first taste of music since they released their star-studded sophomore album ‘Big Wave More Fire’ which featured the likes of Amber Mark, Vic Mensa as well as COLORS alumni Marco McKinnis and Empress Of, ‘Magic Leap’ is delectable slice of electro-R&B. Whilst the song encompasses a slightly more mellow and softer sound compared to the pair’s more underground techno sounds, it shines just as bright with Dijon’s exceptional vocals accompanying the infectious “do do do”s that carry the track along.
Having shared a handful of gorgeous acoustic demos on his SoundCloud over the past year or so, New York based singer/songwriter dhruv delivers his first studio single in the form of ‘double take’. Produced by fellow New Yorker frankis, the sparkling track features a sharp electronic, trap inspired soundbed which boasts a pounding bass which is topped off by dhruv’s exquisite vocal delivery.
