Ottawa based artist maxime. shares a striking visual for latest single ‘old fast’, taken from his debut album ‘whatevernowiscalled’ which dropped at the start of last month. Opening with glitchy electronics which are joined by some killer guitar lines, the track’s moody atmosphere is heightened by maxime.’s equally arresting vocals. Audrey – Comic Sans (ft. Jack Harlow)

Korean-American artist Audrey teams up with Jack Harlow on the bombastic and utterly captivating single ‘Comic Sans’ which dropped last month. Accompanied by an equally playful music video directed by Khufu Najee and Audrey Chu, the track packs quite the punch as both Audrey and Jack manoeuvre their way across the trap-inspired beat with killer flows.

clipping. – The Deep

Originally released in 2017, Los Angeles based trio clipping. share ‘The Deep’, alongside two previously unreleased recordings in the form of ‘Aquacode Databreaks’ (ft. Shabazz Palaces) and ‘Drownt’. Encompassing a futuristic sound, the experimental Hip-Hop group, comprised of rapper Daveed Diggs and producers William Hutson and Jonathan Snipes, work their magic across the three tracks which encompass shape-shifting sci-fi soundscapes.

deka – Tepid

Somali-American fashion designer and artist deka shares ‘Tepid’, a dark and twisted fantastical electronic gem produced by frankie bash and RAFA MAYA. Apart from a few (brilliant) mixes, you can only find one other song by the Minneapolis based artist, it’s the mesmerising ‘ESCAPIST’ which dropped in 2017. On latest single ‘Tepid’, deka’s ghostly vocals creep across the moody soundscape creating an absolutely breathtaking atmosphere.

The Galleria – Stop & Go

The Galleria aka Morgan Geist returns after four years with brand new single ‘Stop & Go’, featuring the sensational Jessy Lanza. Los Angeles based singer/songwriter McCall shares a brilliant music video for latest single ‘Right?’, which follows her ‘Under the Reign’ EP. Opening with the gentle strums of the acoustic guitar, the track quickly takes a turn as McCall’s commanding vocals pierce through the soundscape with killer line “It’s what you wanted right? / Wanted to fuck yourself a new girl right in my sight”. This is uttered as sparkling synths ride across a persistent electronic beat – creating an utterly empowering aesthetic, one that’s carried through in the Griffin Meyer directed clip.

Luke Wild – Fever Brain

Influenced by the likes of Frank Ocean and Elvis Presley, Tampa based artist Luke Wild introduces himself with the dreamy ‘Fever Brain’. Opening with the gentle strums of the guitar and Wild’s serene vocals, the track blossoms into an indie-electronic cut that encompasses an air of nostalgia. On ‘Fever Brain’, you can definitely hear those influences seeping through, yet the self-produced song finds the sweet spot in creating a sound that is Wild’s own.
