Tkay Maidza – Shook

Australian rapper Tkay Maidza unleashes another explosive new single in the form of ‘Shook’ which is produced by Dan Farber. Serving as the follow up to previous cuts ‘Awake’ (featuring JPEGMAFIA) and ‘‘IDC IF U BE DED’, ‘Shook’ further showcases Maidza’s unquestionable versatility as a songwriter and vocalist. MALi JO$E – This Could Be You

Consider yourself introduced to rising Perth based rapper MALi JO$E who shares the explosive and uplifting ‘This Could Be You’. Accompanied by a music video directed by Dylan Guy and MALi JO$E, the spirited track features a scintillating beat that serves as the perfect backdrop for JO$E to lay down his sharp verses and chilled vocals. This being the second release for the artist (following last year’s brilliant ‘Mistakes’), it’s safe to say that MALi JO$E is definitely one to watch.

Superego – Outer Body Stranger (ft. Sampa The Great)

Australian hip hop collective Superego team up with the incredible Sampa The Great on their latest single ‘Outer Body Stranger’. The five-piece serve up another tantalizing experimental cut that boasts their eclectic instrumentation (this time courtesy of Superego member Faoul Duke) and imaginative storytelling. When you add the fierce flow and sharp delivery of Sampa The Great into the mix, there’s no denying that this one’s pretty special. Arno Faraji – Bass Jumpin

If you’re looking for a track to pump you up, look no further than the powerful new single ‘Bass Jumpin’ from Australian artist Arno Faraji. With production courtesy of Moktar and Just A Gent who lay down a bass-heavy beat underlined by groovy guitars and glitchy electronics to allow Faraji to work his magic as he raps about “battling your demons (whatever they are) even when things seem crazy and making opportunities instead of waiting for them”. ThatKidMaz – Glow Up (ft. Jordan Dennis)

Up-and-coming Melbourne artist ThatKidMaz teams up with rising rapper Jordan Dennis on hard-hitting new single ‘Glow Up’ which follows up his striking debut single ‘No Vibe’. With production from Duan who pens a classic Hip-Hop beat, the simplistic soundscape allows ThatKidMaz and Jordan Dennis to fire off their killer verses which shine from start to finish. The empowering track, which is about Maz’s journey navigating the world in search of ways to channel his individuality, also comes with a great music video directed by Nick Rae.

Together with Baltimore rapper JPEGMAFIA, Maidza flexes her powerful vocals over an eerie and frenetic beat penned by Dan Farber as she raps about insomnia. The first single since her ‘Last Year Was Weird Vol. 1’ from last year, ‘Awake’ is the perfect taste of what’s to come from Tkay Maidza.
