The Teskey Brother – Rain
Melbourne based blues rock group The Teskey Brothers are Sam and Josh Teskey who’re joined by Liam Gough and Brendon Love on drums and bass respectively. In 2017, the group released ‘Half Mile Harvest’, their magnificent debut album which features stand out singles like ‘Pain and Misery’, ‘Crying Shame’ and ‘I Get Up’. A refreshing blend of blues and soul with a nod to the old school Motown vibes, the record exudes an authenticity that can’t be forced, the song captures a sense of melancholia with Josh Teskey’s powerful voice taking centre stage across the lush soundscapes.
