TENI

Born in Lagos State, Nigerian singer and songwriter Teni—who is also the younger sister of Afro-house singer Niniola—came to prominence in 2018, when a series of her songs, including ‘Case’, went viral across streaming platforms. Since then, she’s released her debut EP, ‘Billionaire’, been nominated for a BET Award for Best New International Act and an MTV Europe Music Award for Best African Act, and dropped her debut album, ‘WONDALAND’. Released in 2021, the album features  a playful assortment of 27 tracks  as well as vivid imagery that references Teni’s annual visits to Disney World, Orlando.

Now, Teni’s taken to the COLORS stage to deliver a lustful performance of her new single ‘TROUBLE’. A love song dedicated to an undisclosed individual, the track sets Teni’s relatable, catchy vocals against a lively beat that is sure to get feet tapping.
