South London-born Blane Muise creates future-facing pop music under the moniker Shygirl. Since releasing her Sega Bodega-produced debut single ‘Want More’ in 2016, the multi-hyphenate artist—who also co-founded record label and collective Nuxxe—has impressed listeners with her luxurious sounds on EPs such as ‘Cruel Practice’ (2018) and ‘Alias’ (2020). This year, Shygirl has been gearing up for the release of her long-awaited debut album ‘Nymph’, which will feature singles including ‘Firefly’, ‘Come For Me’, and ‘Coochie (a bedtime story)’ and collaborations with the likes of Arca, Sega Bodega, Mura Masa, Cosha, and Vegyn.

For her COLORS debut, Shygirl shares her new single ‘Nike’, an icy pop track also taken from ‘Nymph’. Co-produced by fellow Londoner Oscar Scheller, the track’s playful instrumentation supports Shygirl’s not-so-shy delivery and lyrics.
