NorthSideBenji – Raids | A COLORS SHOW
Over the past few years, NorthSideBenji (aka Jaiden Watson) has established himself as one of Canada’s most exciting new artists. After releasing his breakthrough single ‘Levels’ in 2019, the Brampton rapper and musician went onto drop his debut EP ‘Caviar Dreams’ in the same year, later following it up with the ‘Frienemy’ EP. Both projects paved the 2way for Benji’s debut studio album ‘The Extravagant Collection’ which dropped in October 2021.
Now, NorthSideBenji has brought his darkly futuristic brand of hip-hop to COLORS, delivering a mellow performance of his new single ‘Raids’. Serving as the follow up to ‘Repat’ from earlier this year, the trap-inspired track juxtaposes the artist’s laidback vocals with his sharp and honest songwriting.
