Guapdad 4000
Oakland-based rapper Akeem Ali Douglas Hayes, aka Guapdad 4000, first burst onto the scene in 2017 with the release of his debut mixtape ‘Scamboy Color’. Since then, he has released two striking albums, ‘Dior Deposits’ and ‘1176’, the latter of which was created in collaboration with fellow Filipino-American record producer !llmind. Both projects showcase Guapdad 4000’s distinct delivery and unique ability to switch from playful to serious over vivid and intriguing soundscapes.
