chlothegod – UGOMDN | A COLORS SHOW
Chloe Chavis, (aka chlothegod), is a singer, songwriter, and occasional rapper. Born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, she’s caused a stir this year with her unique musical style bringing together neo-soul and alternative elements. In February 2023, chlothegod dropped her debut single ‘Camille’, a song about “experiencing the unique spectrum of dating different genders”. Since then, she’s continued to impress listeners with her laid back vocals and signature sensitive songwriting on tracks such as ‘Bless Your Heart’ and ‘Outta My Mind’.
For COLORS, chlothegod shares a powerful performance of ‘UGOMDN’, a new single lifted from her debut EP ‘Nearly Straight’. An acronym for “You Get On My Damn Nerves”, the track’s bouncy bass soundtracks chlothegod’s animated vocals that reflect on a souring relationship.
