Jamaica-born and Miami-raised artist BEAM has quietly worked his magic on tracks with the likes of 2 Chainz, Lecrae, 21 Savage as a producer. Towards the end of last year, the rising singer, rapper, writer and producer raised the bar with ‘95’, an eclectic collection of fiery tracks that blend together the worlds of hip-hop, rap, reggae and dancehall. From his sharp verses and versatile flow to the powerful instrumentation, BEAM has shown why he’s one of the most exciting voices around at the moment.
For COLORS, BEAM lays down a supersonic vibe with a slick performance of ‘2 x 2’, a stand out cut from his ‘95’ project. Produced alongside Al Cres, the track encompasses an explosive aesthetic as the pumping beat is the catalyst for BEAM’s icy vocal delivery as he raps and sings, alternating between between Jamaican Patois (“I’m just a yute from the West Indies”) to English.
