YellowStraps – Rose
With a handful of EPs under their belt, Brussels based YellowStraps (comprised of brothers Yvan (vocals) and Alban (guitar & beats) Murenzi with Raphael Starkier on drum duty), have continually impressed with their refreshing sounds. Last year, YellowStraps released ‘Blame’, a magnificent four-track project which wonderfully fuses together elements of electronic-pop with jazz and hip hop, and features collaborations with VYNK and St. South.
As part of their COLORS session, the rising sibling duo share a stunning performance of previously unreleased single ‘Rose’. Driven by a booming bass and drums that hit that sweet spot coupled with those twinkling keys and the pair’s lush harmonies; it’s the track’s subtleties that make it a truly special sonic experience.
