Sadiq Onifade creates powerful and emotive cuts as WurlD. The singer and songwriter began his career writing songs for the likes of Akon, Trinidad James and Mario before stepping into the spotlight in 2017 with singles like ‘Show You Off’, ‘Mother’s Prayer’, ‘All I Need’ and ‘Trobul’. Since then, WurlD has gone onto release a handful of projects in 2019 titled ‘I LOVE GIRLS WITH TROBUL’ (a collaborative effort with producer Starz) and ‘Love Is Contagious’.
WorlD has a way of conveying a feeling so eloquently and effortlessly within his lyrics and instrumentation. That’s exactly the case with ‘Ghost Town’, a new cut which the singer performs for COLORS. Opening with gritty guitars and Onifade’s sharp voice, the track is carried by a crisp beat as WurlD sings about the power of independence and finding confidence within yourself to carry out what you want to achieve.
