WAYNE SNOW – Figurine | A COLORS SHOW
Nigeria-born, Berlin-based artist WAYNE SNOW creates music for the soul. His enriching compositions bring together the soulful vibes of his homeland Nigeria with contemporary influences from his current base in Berlin. Following a string of collaborations with the likes of FKJ, Folamour, Darius and Max Graef, he quickly established himself as one to watch with the release of EPs like ‘Red Runner’, ‘Helios’, and ‘Rosie’, as well as his acclaimed debut album ‘Freedom TV’. This past year, SNOW’s artistic expression continued with a slew of singles including ‘Seventy’, ‘Nina’, ‘The Thrill’, and most recently, ‘Faceless’.
WAYNE SNOW keeps the momentum going with an exclusive COLORS performance of brand new song ‘Figurine’, the title track from his forthcoming album. Supported by a swirling, stylish soundscape co-produced together with Styleboi_92 and Crayon, this breathtaking cut sees Snow ask a simple, yet abstract, question: “Who is the real you?“. Exploring themes of rebirth, individualism, and society’s obsession with social media, ‘Figurine’ ebbs and flows as quiet passages of calm are punctuated with bursts of vibrancy and energy.
