Trueno – No Cap | A COLORS SHOW
Mateo Palacios Corazzina, aka Trueno, is one of the most celebrated voices to come out of Argentina’s rising rap scene. While the artist has been releasing music since 2017, it was his 2019 chart-topping freestyle session ‘BZRP Freestyle Sessions # 6’ and 2020 hit ‘Mamichula’ that really put audiences on to his infectious flow and slick delivery. Since then, Trueno has released two multi-platinum albums: ‘Atrevido’ (2020), which features modern trap and reggaeton with guitar-led cuts, and ‘Bien o Mal’ (2022) which sees Trueno tackle a wide range of social themes over live instrumentation.
Following on from releasing a run of singles—‘DUBAI’, ‘TRANKY FUNKY’, and ‘OHH BABY’—last year, Trueno kicks off 2024 with a spirited A COLORS SHOW performance of ‘No Cap’, a new single from his forthcoming album. Combining subtle electronic beats with crisp live drums and deep basslines, the track’s fiery instrumentation is mirrored by Trueno’s energetic flow.
