Tobi – Beige
Born in Lagos, Nigeria and currently based in Toronto, Canada, musician and artist TOBi crafts swirling soundscapes that entice and invigorate as his pristine vocals pierce through on tracks like ‘iNDECiSiONS’ and ‘Deeper’ which feature on his brilliant 2016 debut EP ‘FYi’. Earlier this year, the rising singer/songwriter continued to impress with the release of ‘STILL, a body of work that beautifully conveys both joy and sorrow as TOBi sings and raps his way throughout.
For his COLORS performance, the Nigerian-Canadian musician and artist brings more of his crisp sounds with ‘Beige’, a previously unreleased single. Topped off by TOBi’s slick vocals and smooth delivery, the track finds candid moments in its simple yet effective production, with that bubbling bass sweeping across those sharp drums and keys.
