Tayc – PRADA’S BIRTHDAY | A COLORS SHOW
Born in Marseille to Cameroonian parents, Tayc is the musical project of Julien Franck Bouadjie Kamgang. Before releasing ‘Nyxia’, an impressive trilogy of albums, in 2019, Tayc released two mixtapes titled ‘Alchemy’ (2017) and ‘H.E.L.I.O.S’ (2018). Since then, the artist has shared three further projects showcasing his unique blend of Afrobeats and R&B: ‘Fleur froide’ (2020), its follow up ‘Fleur froide – Second état: la cristallisation’, (2021) and ‘ROOM 96’, which dropped this past May.
For his COLORS debut, Tayc delivers an irresistible performance of his new single ‘PRADA’S BIRTHDAY’. Featuring a crisp beat and a sultry soundscape of groovy guitars and warm basslines, the track sees Tayc lay down smooth and silky vocals with a nonchalant flair.
