Tanerélle – Better Days | A COLORS SHOW
Atlanta, Georgia-born singer, writer, composer, actress, and artist Tanerélle creates eclectic, elegant sounds that, to date, have been featured on Spike Lee’s ‘She’s Gotta Have It’, Issa Rae’s ‘Insecure’, and the score of Nikyatu Jusu’s acclaimed horror film ‘Nanny’. Following the release of her debut album ‘11:11’ in 2017, Tanerélle has continually impressed audiences with her exquisite voice and poetic songwriting. Highlights of her discography include ‘Dreamgirl’ (2018), ‘Mama Saturn’ (2019), and ‘Good Good’ (2021), as well as her EPs ‘82 Moons’ (2022) and ‘For Sport’ (2023).
For her COLORS debut, the now L.A.-based artist graces the stage with an ethereal performance of ‘Better Days’, a new track from her forthcoming EP. Against a soundscape of groove-inflected guitar lines and a punchy drum beat, Tanerélle employs soothing tones to explore themes of perseverance and hope. As the song title suggests, she looks forward to brighter days ahead. Watch out the full performance and be sure to check out the rest of the new EP when it drops in May.
