Sway Clarke – Either Way
Born in Toronto but currently based in Berlin, Sway Clarke (formerly Sway Clarke II) has been continually impressing with his rich and tantalizingly smooth R&B tunes. Whilst it’s been a year since we last heard from him with his Quiet. It’s My 90’s Mixtape and Bad Love EP, there’s a sense of timelessness to his music; so it doesn’t feel like he’s been gone at all. Whether it’s the heartbreaking tones of “Bad Love” or the romanticism of “Deepak Chopra”, Sway Clarke has the uncanny ability to paint emotions with his words so eloquently; and that’s exactly what makes him such a special artist.
Returning to the COLORS stage for the second time, Sway Clarke absolutely smashes his performance of brand new track “Either Way”. Backed up by an off-kilter beat that stutters and clanks its way throughout, there’s no question that the focal point of the song is that killer falsetto. From the get-go, those startlingly fresh and captivating high notes soar above the soundscape; taking you to heavenly pastures that you never want to leave. Enjoy the jaw-dropping worthy performance of “Either Way” above and be sure to check out his equally arresting rendition of “Bad Love” here.
