Sol ChYld – PSA (The Introduction) | A COLORS SHOW
Haanesha ‘Sol ChYld’ Smith released her debut album, ‘For the Sol’, in 2019. Featuring her early singles ‘Early Mind’ and ‘Undone’, the project showcased the Camden, New Jersey native’s penchant for raw lyricism, creative wordplay, and dynamic delivery. Since then, she’s shared the follow up projects ‘Eyes Toward the Sun’ (2022) and ‘Something Came to Me’ (2023), the latter of which includes highlights like ‘Something’, ‘NBC’ and ‘Choice’.
For her debut A COLORS SHOW, Sol ChYld delivers a razor-sharp performance of ‘PSA (The Introduction)’, a brand new single from her forthcoming EP. Opening with a vocal sample from Neil deGrasse Tyson, the track sees Sol ChYld meditate on the theme of overcoming obstacles and striving for more against a skittering, sprightly beat.
