Slow J – Grandeza | A COLORS SHOW
Slow J is the musical project of João Coelho. The Portuguese rapper, producer, and songwriter released his first EP, ‘The Free Food Tape’, in 2015. Since then, he’s taken the international music scene by storm with impressive projects like ‘The Art of Slowing Down’ (2017), ‘You Are Forgiven’ (2019), and ‘sLo-Fi’ (2020). Slow J show no signs of slowing down either: he’s recently released a slew of singles such as ‘CARO’ (with X-Tense) and ‘Where U @’, and has a new album on the way.
For his debut A COLORS SHOW, Slow J shares a striking performance of his new single entitled ‘Grandeza’. Bringing together the sonic worlds of the artist’s Portuguese and Angolan heritage, the captivating performance features hair-raising harmonies, vibrant guitars, a bassy beat, and sharp delivery.
