Inglewood based singer, songwriter and producer SiR is one of the most exciting voices in R&B at the moment. His eclectic sounds and poignant songwriting have impressed over the past few years, most notably on debut album ‘November’ which dropped in 2017 via TDE. Most recently, SiR released his second full length album titled ‘Chasing Summers’ which features stand out singles like ‘Hair Down’, ‘You Can’t Save Me’ and ‘That’s Why I Love You’ as well as contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Smino, Kadhja Bonet and more.
As part of his COLORS session, the Inglewood native lays down a slick performance of ‘John Redcorn’, a beautiful cut taken from ‘Chasing Summer’. Named after the fictional character from Fox sitcom ‘King of the Hill’, the track sees a soul-stirring performance from SiR who sings about unreciprocated love over a sharp and sophisticated beat penned by Kal Banx & Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman who dowse the soundscape with moody guitars.
