Prince Waly – Broke/Miroir | A COLORS SHOW
Hailing from the east Parisian suburb of Montreuil, Prince Waly has been a burgeoning force within the French rap scene for the past decade. Previously a member of the Big Budha Cheez duo alongside Fiasko Proximo, to date the artist has released two explosive EPs: while 2016’s ‘Junior’ was created with renowned beatmaker Myth Syzer, 2019’s ‘BO Y Z’ included collaborations with the likes of TRIPLEGO, Loveni, and Alpha Wann. Following a three year hiatus, Prince Waly returned to the spotlight this year with the release of two stellar singles ‘Walygator’ and ‘Avertisseurs (Part II)’.
For his A COLORS SHOW, the French star sets the stage alight with ‘Broke/Miroir’, a fierce medley of two new songs lifted from his long-awaited debut album. While ‘Broke’ features a soft soundscape and a cool, calm, and collected delivery, ‘Miroir’ boasts a crisp, bassy beat allowing the rapper to showcase his sharper side.
