Ne-Yo – Don’t Love Me | A COLORS SHOW

Since releasing his debut single ‘Stay’ (featuring Peedi Peedi) in 2005, Ne-Yo (aka Shaffer Chimere Smith) has gone on to become one of R&B’s biggest names. Having released seven studio albums starting with ‘In My Own Words’ in 2006, Ne-Yo’s distinct voice and infectious songwriting has seen him deliver smash hits like ‘So Sick’, ‘Because of You’, ‘Closer’, and ‘Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)’ to name just a few.

As part of our Black History Month series with Motown Records, the multi Grammy-winning artist shares a special performance of his latest single ‘Don’t Love Me’, which is lifted from his forthcoming album ‘Self Explanatory’. With production from Mally Mall and Curtis ‘Sauce’ Wilson, the track’s crisp instrumentation and falsetto-laden vocals are emblematic of Ne-Yo’s quintessential sound. Watch the performance above and keep an eye out for ‘Self Explanatory’ which is set to drop later this year.
