MAUIMØON – GROOVE WITH ME | A COLORS SHOW
Ngoga Donald Otim, known professionally as MAUIMØON, is a Ugandan musician and singer-songwriter who also produces under the moniker SOULCHYLD. It was through his SOULCHYLD persona that Otim amassed a following by creating and releasing flips, remixes, and original tracks on SoundCloud. In 2018, Otim would go on to release his debut singles ‘TOO REAL’ and ‘DRIVE’ as MAUIMØON. Since then, the artist has released two projects in the form of ‘PLEASURE’ (2021), and ‘From Uganda With Love’ (2023), which showcase the artist’s spectral range as both a vocalist and producer on highlights like ‘Slow & Cozy’, ‘CHERRY SWEET’, and ‘SUPAHAWT’.
For COLORS, MAUIMØON steps onto the stage to deliver a sublime performance of a brand new single titled ‘GROOVE WITH ME’. Fusing R&B melodies with afro-inspired rhythms, the artist lays down his soft and supple vocals atop the vibrant soundscape as he expresses his plea to keep a relationship afloat.
