Keynes Woods – Threat

Keynes Woods isn’t just another SoundCloud rapper. As cliché as it sounds, what sets him apart from his contemporaries, is himself. Having been raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo for eight years before making the move to Ottawa, Canada – Keynes Woods wonderfully takes the juxtaposing cultures and marries them in a way that seamlessly blends together. Following up 2016’s Temporary tape with a slew of singles last year in the form of “Dream Girl” and the Lotanna-featuring “Shoot Your Shot”, Keynes Woods is undoubtedly set for even bigger things this year.

What better way to kick off the New Year with a COLORS session of a brand new song, right? Treating us to an exclusive performance of “Threat”, Keynes Woods demands respect with his reflective and direct flow and a hook that bites in “I ain’t your friend I’m a threat” over a simplistic but equally vibey beat. At just over two minutes long, it’s clear that Keynes Woods isn’t messing around – see for yourself up top!
