Jewel Usain – Bleu marine | A COLORS SHOW
Paris-born and bred rapper Jewel Usain has been at the forefront of the French rap scene for over a decade. During this time, he’s become known for his poignant pen and dynamic flow, which are evident on projects including ‘La rage au ventre’ (2015), ‘Prequel 99’ (2018), ‘TEL’ (2019), and ‘Mode Difficile’ (2021). Last year, Usain released his debut studio album ‘Où les garçons grandissent’, a seventeen-track opus depicting the artist’s evolution and growth. Stand out tracks from the project include ‘Eleanor’ (ft. Prince Waly), ‘Poussière’ and ‘Je reste là’.
For COLORS, Jewel Usain shares an ambitious and unapologetic rendition of ‘Bleu marine’, the closing track from ‘Où les garçons grandissent’. Against a serene soundscape of guitars, keys, and a deep bass, Usain reflects on his past in order to evolve towards a brighter future.
Usain’s powerful performance kicks #reflectyouroriginalité, COLORS and Levi’s new collaboration championing bold, authentic self-expression as an instrument for creative and personal growth. The campaign celebrates the launch of Levi’s new flagship store on Paris’ Champs-Élysées.
