PG County, Maryland-raised rapper IDK’s—Ignorantly Delivering Knowledge—broad palette of sounds blends the worlds of hip hop, soul, jazz, and trap. His decade-spanning career properly kicked off in 2015, when the release of his second mixtape ‘SubTrap’ propelled him into the spotlight. Since then, IDK has released several stellar studio albums, including ‘Is He Real’ (2019), ‘USee4Yourself’ (2021), and ‘Simple.’ (2022). This May, IDK released his fourth studio album, ‘F65’, which features collaborations with the likes of Musiq Soulchild, Rich The Kid, Snoop Dogg, and Tay Iwar.
Fresh from the release of ‘F65’, IDK stops by the COLORS stage to deliver a vibrant performance of ‘Elmina’, a highlight from the album. Packed with buoyant grooves and infectious rhythms, the track creates a relaxed atmosphere that is mirrored by IDK’s slick and smooth delivery of lyrics exploring rushing into a relationship.
