Brooklyn-born musician, artist, and director Ian Isiah isn’t one to shy away from pushing the boundaries of R&B. On his latest album, ‘AUNTIE’, which dropped last year and is produced entirely by Chromeo, his gospel and jazz-infused compositions find the perfect balance between extravagance and delicacy. From the opening single ‘N.U.T.S.’ to the album’s magnificent closer ‘Loose Truth’, Isaiah explores themes of sexuality and empowerment over funk-filled soundscapes that complement his falsetto-laden vocals.
For COLORS, Isiah drops by with a gorgeous, acoustic rendition of his previously unheard single ‘See You’. The crisp guitar chords serve as the perfect backdrop for Isiah’s smooth and heartfelt tones, which glide across the instrumentation with effortless grace.
