Fousheé – double standard | A COLORS SHOW

In 2020, New Jersey native Fousheé’s uncredited, royalty-free vocal pack sample went viral on TikTok after it was used in Flatbush Zombies rapper Sleepy Hallow’s ‘Deep End Freestyle’. Later that year, the artist released her own version of ‘Deep End’, which has amassed over 200 million streams on Spotify alone. It also features on her debut project ‘time machine’, which dropped last year. The nine-track collection features Fousheé’s magnetic vocals against warming instrumentation and includes contributions from Lil Yachty and Steve Lacy.

For her A COLORS SHOW, which was produced in collaboration with Burberry, the now L.A.-based artist shares an ethereal performance of her latest single ‘double standard’. A shining example of Fousheé’s alternative sound, the single’s gritty production, crumbling basslines, and sharp drums are juxtaposed by the singer’s soothing and soulful tones. Watch the ethereal performance above and keep an eye out for more from Fousheé later this year.
