DIXSON – SWEETER | A COLORS SHOW
Having collaborated with the likes of Chance the Rapper, Justin Bieber, Pharrell, YEBBA, VIC MENSA, and most recently Beyoncé, DIXSON (aka Darius Scott) has cemented himself as one of the most exciting voices and writers around. The singer, songwriter, and musician, who was nominated for an Oscar for co-writing ‘Be Alive’ from the King Richard soundtrack, stepped into the spotlight in 2021 with his debut solo EP ‘DARLING’. Earlier this year, DIXSON dropped his sophomore EP ‘004DAISY’, which features contributions from the likes of Tinashe, VIC MENSA, Michael Armstead, Stolen Nova, and Sevyn Streeter.
For his debut A COLORS SHOW, DIXSON shares an uplifting performance of ‘SWEETER’. The closing song of ‘004DAISY’, ‘SWEETER’ features lively instrumentation—including warming guitar lines and a pounding bass—as well as consolatory lyrics delivered in DIXSON’s characteristically smooth vocals.
