If you aren’t familiar with Crack Ignaz, this is the perfect time to do so. With a handful of stellar projects under his belt in the form of Kirsch, Geld Leben (with Wandl), Aurora (with LGoony) and most recently Marmeladé, Crack Ignaz has well and truly cemented his status as one of the best rappers to come out of Austria. Ignaz’s music is a gift that keeps on giving as you can’t help but vibe to everything from the playful and vibrant production styles that soundtrack his tunes to his versatile flow and delivery.
As part of his COLORS show, Crack Ignaz treats us to a special version of “Oder Ned”, the original of which is produced by Lex Lugner and is lifted off Kirsch which dropped back in 2015. For the performance, Ignaz takes the intensity level up a notch to mirror the quicker pace of the remix penned by Miko Waye. It takes the track to stratospheric heights whilst still maintaining that laid-back and chilled out vibe of the original. Whilst we await new material from Crack Ignaz, vibe out to the performance up top and be sure to check out the rest of his music – you won’t be disappointed.
