Bri Steves – Lonely With You / Back Outside | A COLORS SHOW
Philadelphia native Bri Steves kicked off her musical career in 2018 with the release of her infectious debut single ‘Jealousy’. Since then, she’s garnered acclaim for her follow up singles ‘Miami’ and ‘Regrets’, and performed opening slots for the likes of Mary J Blige, Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, and COLORS alumna H.E.R. In 2021, Steves dropped ‘TBH’, her striking debut EP. Not only does it encapsulate her unique blend of hip-hop and her self-coined “R&Bri”, the project also features a collaboration COLORS alum Guapdad 4000!
For her debut A COLORS SHOW, Steves shares a tantalizing new single titled ‘Lonely With You / Back Outside’, a brand new track lifted from her forthcoming album ‘I JUST THINK IT’S FUNNY HOW’. The track clearly demonstrates Steves’ artistic versatility: while in the first half she delivers silken, melodic vocals against a soothing R&B soundscape, in the second she effortlessly shifts gears to deliver fiery, powerful rap verses.
