Brussels based artist Angèle quite frankly has a voice of an angel. Having first introduced herself with a slew of covers that were uploaded to her SoundCloud page and included a stunning rendition of Jhonny Cash’s “Guess Things Happen That Way”, Angèle quickly impressed with her eclectic songwriting, heavenly vocals and enticing production on tracks like “La loi de Murphy” and “Je Veux Tes Yeux”. This past October, Angèle unveiled Brol, her spectacular debut album which features stand out singles “La Thune” and “Les Hommes Ne Pleurent Pas” which features COLORS alum Roméo Elvis.
Hypnotic and utterly captivating, Angèle graces the COLORS stage with a spellbinding performance of “Ta Reine”. Co-produced alongside Tristan Salvati, the track embodies a scintillating trap-inspired beat which beautifully carries the song along and serves as the perfect backdrop for Angèle’s mesmerising voice. Her elegant, almost whispered tones will send shivers down your spine as she sings about sexuality and identity. Get lost in her angelic musings and enjoy the stunning performance of “Ta Reine” up top – it’s pretty special! Whilst you’re it, don’t forget to give Angèle’s brilliant album Brol a listen too.
